30 Jan 2009 - Second Basic Skills Quality Mark Award for Centre

Today the Centre played host to Mr Williams and Mrs Jones from the L.E.A Basic Skills Team

Their visit was to designed to assess the progress made by the centre since the original award of the Basic Skills Quality Mark in January 2006.

After a presentation and tour of the Centre Mr Williams & Mrs Jones confirmed that the Centre had once again fulfilled the criteria,  demonstrating continued progress in many areas since first receiving the award three years ago.

It is particularly pleasing to have the good work that takes place at the Centre recognised.  An award like the Quality Mark is a clear and simple validation of the positive work that is undertaken here by both the Staff and  pupils alike.
